Have got nephew to stay atm, as SIL is unable to pack her house up and move with a two year old. We managed it with DS alone last year but hey! He stayed last night, they were up at 6.30 this morning. I'm working a late today, home at 10.30, same again tomorrow and then a 12.5 hr day. All morning I have been trying to keep them amused, sorting out multiple scraps (today DS is the one being a little bugger). All I want to do is chill. Dp out helping with the actual move. Poor little boy is always palmed off somewhere. He was crying for ages for his mummy last night. Barely ever sees her.

poor you. have yourself a big mug of coffee and a sit down?
do i detect a little hostility to sil??!!
just call me sherlock

LoveMyGirls · 28/04/2007 11:38

Awww thats not good I can understand her side, we're due to move soon and my 19mth old will i hope be staying somewhere (possibly pil) while we move. Still feel for you though doesn't sound like you need the hassle on top of working long hours. Could sil pop over for an hour or two while the men do the heavy stuff to A give you a break and B see her son?

How long is he staying with you?

FlossALump · 28/04/2007 11:41

I try not to be! Just the family set up is completely biased towards her. She is moving into the next street, about 30 secs away which I have quite mixed feelings about. Nice for the boys but hoping we won't get used and abused. I am having a cup of tea now, have to get ready for work soon, so hoping Dp is home in next 30 mins.

Also I just can't understand why nephew had to stay - just clear his room out before he goes to bed and then do the rest once he is in bed. Last year I packed our whole flat up when I was living alone with DS.

I hope he is going back later today, although two sets of clothes were sent! I've just been finding working nearly full time, having a busy two year old and being pg has floored me tbh! I am next to useless in a way I never thought I could be.

SherlockLGJ · 28/04/2007 11:54

Floss

You are mad, I would have told her to take a running jump. They did F**K all to help you when you needed help last year.

FlossALump · 28/04/2007 11:56

Ah but Sherlock that was because she choose the exact same day as us to move last year! Twas most odd. How are you BTW?

SherlockLGJ · 28/04/2007 11:58

She is moving again ?

Is she trying to stay one step ahead of the law ?

I am fine thank you.

QV is coming down to stay for the night later.

FlossALump · 28/04/2007 12:02

No her father is the law! No she has decided last place wasn't big enough and that where we are living is the place to be! She is on DSS so don't think moving is as expensive for her. But she has started working now and has a boyfriend who seems nice. MIL is barely around ATM, has a new job going all around the world. Its such a shame!

Say hi to VVV tonight, have a good sober and sensible evening won't you?!

SherlockLGJ · 28/04/2007 12:03

I will say hello to her, can't promise the rest.

SherlockLGJ · 28/04/2007 12:04

Such a shame about your evil MIL. >

FlossALump · 28/04/2007 12:06

pmsl! Take care and have fun tonight, off to get ready and get lunch.
