i organised a surpise party for DH for his 31st ... but then this was before DD and in a previous life ....

Since DD, DH has asked to have to himself as a bithday present - i always ask for the same thing. We also don't do expensive presents, just tokens like breakfast in bed etc ...

well my dd is nearly 20 months and will also have my niece who is nearly 6 down...My dh has booked the day off work so am gonna have a nightmare putting up bannars and balloons....
We havent the money for drink and food and dh wants it all low key...But i would like to make it specail for him,although we have had personal probs lately...Help..

what about having a bbq with byo for friends and getting a few friends to help out with some plates.
After all a party is about the company not necessarily the food/drink!
