How can I run & not pee myself?

Went a walk today & ran down the hills, it wasn't until I got back to the car that I realised my pelvic floor isn't as reliable as I thought it was & a dark stain was creeping across the crotch of my grey joggers

Please don't tell me it's time to reach for the tena lady, I am only 29

have a pee before you go
and do your pelvic floor exercises I suppose

fireflyfairy2 · 26/04/2007 22:13

I pee'd before I left, I pee'd in the gate of a field on the way round too

It happens on the trampoline too. Bugger it, I do my pelvis floor exercises all the time, when waiting for kettle to boil, when driving along [I am the woman you see at traffic lights grimacing & counting]

But am obviously not doing enough!!

Nallee, so will dd, she has been a toad this week!!

get referred to whoever it is who specialises in pelvic floor exercises - they are always happy to do this for women. it does make a difference and they will improve things for you. i know exactly where you are coming from!

Er wear black not grey lol. Less noticeable.

Or run more and pass it off as sweat not leakage.

There are physios who specialise in pelvic floor exercise, you can get referred by your gp.

This page goes into it a bit. But you also start doing the exercises lying down or sitting down, then move to doing them standing up, then standing up with your legs apart.
