Hi
Are there any teccy's out there? I have recently shipped my computer hardrive out to my home abroad. All's fine with it, works perfectly except all my music files (loads) have gone missing! On advice of my brother I took the side of the harddrive off and pulled out and plugged back in the 2 sets of wires into the harddrive but hasnt changed anything. Does anyone have any ideas how I can find them?? I noticed there was another set of wires plus a single wire with a phone socket type end hanging loose in there-don't know if this means anything??
Any help will be SO appreciated, I need to balance out dp's awful heavy rock collection of CD's with some decent UK Indie! Please help

Odd for just a particular file type to go missing. Try to recall if those files were on a different drive... If a MSWindows based PC, perhaps you had them on D drive, rather than C.

Search the drive for all .MP3 .WAV *.AU that sort of thing, see if they have just moved somewhere somehow.

Did you have any external drives plugged in prior to moving the equipment?
