On the plus side, I have transplanted 3 rose bushes... Or maybe 4 of them. Not sure. And DH has been attacking carefully pruning trees. Hurrah for doing practical things.

In his boredom looking at old files, DH found birth/death certificates for relatives going back to the 1880s and he wanted to go and find their graves. It's a very old dilapidated cemetery which I don't think is used now. We didn't find anything. So our highlights of the week are visiting Lidl and a graveyard.

I need to do a load of eBaying but I'm waiting for a final value offer from them, they haven't had one for ages. It's just not worth the effort for low priced items.

DC have been okay today. DS2 has done a bit of homework but not as much as he should. Ditto DS1. Told DS1 about a meeting for parents at school in a couple of weeks for us to discuss mock results and where to go next. He wasn’t aware of this. His face was . Mine was

Been watching Merlin. Have finally got to the end of S4. Gwaine in chains and then having to fight. He had to be shirtless for this. I’m not clear on the reason but I was very grateful.

How long do you think the plan will last? There was something DS2 said he really really wanted. Been asking for ages. As per school’s suggestion, I said “why don’t you write something down about it to persuade me why you should have it”. He thought about it and then said he’d changed his mind and didn’t want it any more.

I’m watching Big Cats from last Thursday. Is fab.
