Evening wenches.

Might give Britannia a whirl if I ever catch up with everything else. The trailers do look good.

“How’s where the tooth used to be?” made me Grin. Still sore but it seems to be getting better very slowly. Nearly gave up at work at about 12.30 but I was brave and persevered. Will try for an early night.

Did anywench watch Troy Fall of a City? I rather liked —the chap playing Paris— it.

Shetland tonight.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/02/2018 19:03

Thought that would help Grin

I put Sing on for DS2 to watch. He’s playing a game and isn’t watching. DH is engrossed Grin

ApricotCrush · 20/02/2018 20:29

Yes, 6 hours, so far. We've had no hot water for 3 days. We have an immersion heater, but have to keep the pipes cold, so kettles it is. Tomorrow he has to drain the system down, so no water at all.

We watched Troy, I was a bit meh about it, but Paris is rather hot nice.

Will be watching Shetland.

LetUsPrey · 20/02/2018 20:54

Hope they get it sorted quickly tomorrow then Apricot. Would’ve been sorted quicker if they’d listened to MrApricot You need to go to a hotel —with an HBF— and have a hot shower —with an HBF— or a bath —with an HBF—

I think —based on nothing— that Troy will pick up and they just had a lot to get introduced and set up in the first episode. I do love a bit of Greek/Roman mythology.

I suspect I’ll be watching Shetland at a later date, possibly tomorrow.

(Wish my strikethrough still worked)

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/02/2018 20:54

Um... have RBNR, and haven't seen any of the things people are talking about. Must try harder...

Oooo hot tub is a much better idea!

New series of Mum tonight on BBC2. That’s on the list of recorded programmes.

I wonder if Helen noticed the chaise was occupied before she slumped on it?

Morning wenches.

What a night that was last night in the hayloft!

Here’s to hot water and heating for Apricot.

Have just been dancing round the kitchen to a Killers song so I think we can say I’m feeling a bit better. Still a bit sore but I’ve definitely perked up. Hurrah! Let’s hope I’ve not spoken too soon.

Have fabulous days wenches, filled with HBFs

ApricotCrush · 21/02/2018 15:16

Hi wenches.

Eureka, we have heat and hot water, yay!!! Hope it lasts.

Glad where the tooth was is feeling better LetUs.

ApricotCrush · 21/02/2018 15:37

From TBOnline:

Heat magazine - A Quickie with TomBurke. Ooo yes, please.

Scans from Metro Magazine.

mrsreynolds · 21/02/2018 16:35

Ugh
What a day

LetUsPrey · 21/02/2018 18:24

Evening wenches.

Hurrah for heating and hot water!

Length of time between painkillers is getting longer which is good. Still salt rinsing for all I’m worth though.

LetUsPrey · 21/02/2018 18:25

Also at a Quickie with Tom Burke Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 21/02/2018 18:28

Evening. Feeling a bit weird these last days, so tired I took a nap after work. And so sick of snow, I want spring!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 21/02/2018 18:38

Oooh this cheered me up, they're showing a series of documentaries by Louis Theroux on Swedish telly Smile

LetUsPrey · 21/02/2018 19:09

It’s your age Wicked. It should be noted, however, that “it’s your age” is applied at any age to any particular complaint/ailment.

Enjoy the documentaries.

I could just have a nap myself actually.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 21/02/2018 21:48

FFS wenches, I am grouchy and irritable and I cannot be arsed. DH is working away so I've had to cook my own tea, and I'm generally in a mood.

Though the Quickie did make me snort.

In other TB news, he's goin gto be warbling poetry in London on 2nd March. www.intelligencesquared.com/events/the-power-of-poetry/ Much as I would love to go and fan-girl at actors including Helena Bonham Carter, Sue Perkins and Tom Burke and it sounds quite interesting I can't be bothered to schlep all the way to London to fall asleep listen to poetry.
