There’s a mocks review meeting at DS1’s school next week. I am fully prepared to explain to them how he is doing no revision at home despite our best efforts and then ask for suggestions and what he needs to do. He thinks I’m kidding.

Agree apricot, so hard for everyone, the teachers are having to cope with so much change & are being asked to set targets & make predictions when they have no experience of the new exams. DDs school seems to be putting the frighteners on re GCSEs & I swear it's because they're so terrified of underestimating how hard the exams will be that they're overestimating.
