Morning, was out last night, not still stuck under ScaredyCat.

We have power - hurrah!!! (It went off at 6:35, back on at abut 7:45am)

Next door's shed tried to visit our garden, but ran out of energy after a couple of rotations; the glass has broken in one pane of the greenhouse, and the perspex roof that was resting on the chicken run had blown off. And we're missing a bucket. Other than that' all present and correct. Apart from the bins blowing open/over, but fortunately one was empty and the other didn't lose anything.

DH v. annoyed when I got back from early schoo run (various branches down and one large tree) because no internet.... that would be because I unplugged the phone line to plug in an old analogue phone when the power went off. He'd moved the analogue phone but apparently not noticed that it was also plugged in, so no router...

Tons of snow here I've been busy with very important stuff cheating on my wenches with Reylo fangirls. TFIF tomorrow!

Lol at shed running out of energy. Everything seems alright here. We heard an enormous crash at about 3am which DH said was one of the wrought iron chairs on the balcony falling over, but this morning they're both still in place. So what that was we don't know.

I have a cat in the house, Buffy has come for her routine groom/hack. She's enormous, you can't see the cat for the fur, just a white ball with two eyes peeping out. It's not as if she's an outdoor cat and needs a big coat.

DH has a date for his knee op, 3rd February. Two weeks tomorrow.

Yes, quite surprised at the date for surgery, but he would have it done tomorrow if he could. His left knee has deteriorated very badly, there's no cartilage left and the bones are rubbing against each other when he walks. We're now trying to think of stuff that needs to get done, he won't be able to drive for six weeks.
