Well the kids not us aswell.

I always manage to get in a right flap with this, and woould like to avoid that this time.

I want outfits for Dd1 & Dd2 (4&6), and Ds (19mths). Don't mind if the girls outfits match or not, aslong as they co-ordinate.

Keep getting stuck as i can think of stuff for Dd's but then what colour do i put Ds in to match ??

We had a famiy photo done not long ago. ds1 and ds2 wore jeans and blue t-shirts with denim shirts over top. T-shirts weren't exactly the same but toned in. Dh and I also both wore jeans and blue t-shirts. All different colour blues. I think it looked really good and am pleased with results. Boys took their denim shirts off for a couple of the shots.
Hope it goes well for you.

I have seen a beautiful very informal family photo where everybody from the baby to the grannie were wearing jeans and a white T-shirt and no shoes. It was beautiful, specially because all were smiling not paying too much attention to the photographer.

Yeah i did think of putting Dd's in denim skirts,a nd Ds in his jeans, and was gonna get white tops too, but i was hoping that some of the backgrounds would be white, so the top half of them would dissapear.

any more suggestions ??

My friend had photos done with kids in white against a white background and they were beautiful pictures - the kids looked completely angelic. The grownups didn't wear white but quite pale clothes. In some of the pictures her ds had a toy train which worked well (the colours against the white).

White backgrounds? are you going to Venture photos? they told us that for them whites are slimming and the white don't disapear in the background (the nice photo I saw was from them and with a white background), but I don't know if it works the same with other studios.

No not venture (would love to though). I'm having them done at Olan Mills, and have been told that they do do the ones with white backhrounds too.

Quite fancied having both Dd's in all white, and Ds in white top and either jeans or beige rtrousers or something.

Maybe i should ring and ask them.

Right been to the Next sale and brought dd's lilac dresses with white circles on (70's type of thing).
Managed to get Ds a plain white linen shirt, but what do i put on his bottom half. Will denim blue go with the girls lilac dresses.

Should have gone with my first thought, and picked the white, green and blue dresses, would of been so much easier.

May try and pop back tommorow and see if they have any left.

could you take a change of clothes and see when you get there?

nutcracker · 25/07/2004 17:10

Yeah i think we can do that.

The girls love the dresses i've brought so i'll probably keep those and then see if i can get the others too. Good job they are all in the sale
