I was wondering if anyone could help? A really close friend of mine has moved to Texas because of her husband's new job, she had only been there a few weeks when she found out her Mum's cancer is now terminal and she has months to live. She's been back in the UK to be with her mum over Christmas for over a month now with her 2 1/2 yr old and 10month old. Her husband has now joined her at her parents but she has to return to Texas after as he has to get back to work. I saw her yesterday and she is a mummy on the edge and I'm really worried about her coping when she returns to the US as she's got no-one there. If I could fly out there to be with her when the time comes I would but I can't afford it :-( Does anyone know of any British Expat community out there that she could get in contact with? I'm asking because I think it might help talking to a Brit for that bit of comfort.
