So I'm going on holiday and was thinking about getting netflicks for while we are away. I have a kindle fire and a Samsung pad (dd's) and she said there isn't a lot of memory on her Samsung pad! Do you think either of those will be ok? How much memory would you need to download onto the device?

Which kindle fire do you have? It works brilliantly on my Fire HD 8.

Sorry for the late reply, my kindle is a fire HD - 7 inch display with 16gb of memory I think

If there's wifi you don't have to download beforehand you can just stream it so it needs less memory

I'm getting the new Kindle Fire 10 for Christmas. It comes with 32 gb of storage and has a slot for an SD memory card of whatever size, and they're really cheap these days. I have a 64 gb card in my Fire 8 that I'm just going to pop out of the old one and put into the new one.

PP is correct. I just download shows and movies if I know I'm going to be watching on the train or some other place without reliable wifi.

The new Kindle Fire 10 was only $99 on black Friday. See how much it would cost to upgrade. The new one will be much faster too.

I wanted to download movies and programmes so we can watch it on the plane! But it defiantly can't do it as on my phone the app has a whole sectio. That says download and on my kindle it doesn't Confused

I don't really use my kindle much actually hardly ever so would t be much point in upgrading
