I embarrassed my self so much at the local gym during an unusually intense bout of PMT that I haven't been back since (4 weeks). Is there anyone else out there out done something similar?

at least it wasn't him squealing and shouting 'pull harder, oh, nearly there, aahhh, harder etc''

gtimama · 21/04/2007 13:29

I practically stuck my nose right up my mates arse whilst doing core exercises on those big ball things. Never did get the hang of them.

Come on tell us.

Is Barbiehair stuck in a locker?

I see, it was just a ply to get us to admit to all the dumb things wev'e done at the gym. WEll, actually I never did fall off the tread mill, I was only saying that.....

SarahJaneSmith -Who are you? Do I know you?

Did anyone ever find out what Barbiehair did at the gym?

yomellamoHelly · 22/04/2007 10:18

Had a complete rant on gym staff, centre management and HQ management when 8 weeks pg if that counts. Was feeling just terrible and generally sorry for myself and would not have ordinarily gone off on one so much. Interestingly they've just addressed the issue I complained about (music system broken so only 1 speaker working in whole place - consequently turned up really loud). Ds2 is 4 months.

You're a mean lot. It involved lots of sobbing (just passed the two year anniversary of my late husbands diagnosis) and shouting at gym staff, deleting my records when it was all my fault. Sorry if it's not what you hoped for but it was pretty upsetting at the time.

I went mental at the receptionists at my doctor's surgery, becuase they'd told me the wrong time for my appointment, and as a result I'd missed it. I really read them the riot act because it had been a pain getting there/time off from work, and because I was pregnant and not keeping very well so I actually needed to see the doctor. Got home and realised that it was my mistake - I'd written the correct time in my diary and just hadn't read it. I, like you was really embarrassed, but I just bit the bullet and went back to see them, chocolates in hand, and apologised for being so horrible and recognised publicly that it was all my fault because I'm an idiot. Worked out fine, and they were always more pleasant to me aftewards. Go and be brave - it'll make you feel good.

barbiehair..so sorry if we were flippant inappropriately and that you were upset. But it wasn't clear from your OP that it was a serious subject, and then you disappeared.
Hope your week has improved and sorry to hear about your dh.

Roskva · 24/04/2007 13:25

Oh barbiehair, I'm sorry, especially to hear about your dh. I don't think any of us were trying to be nasty. Sending you a hug.
