an absolute tip like my car!!!

tragically, in my case, true.

just cleared out the car and then all the bags and coats I found in the car - and realised it extends not only to handbags, but also to pockets.

..and I never knew I owned so many umbrellas!

dh is obsessed about having a clean car, so he does all that. tis v nice to drive ( me!) and he hardly ever drives it apart from weekends

Mine's foul. DH gets into a real strop about it!

my car is a tip and every time I get in it I think..really must clean it then we get out shut the door and its forgotten..

my old car is still sitting in the drive containing various odds and sods- was so excited about new car that i just dumped my old one and haven't even opened the door since!!

new car still shiny and clean, gets washed once a week and hoovered/valeted once a month!

Immaculate, it was valeted on Monday.

here is an indication of it's shitholiness.

eyesterday i took it in for an MOT.

they usually put plastic bag over the seating, they must have thought- 'theres no fucking point'

my car is always tidy.

we didn't have one for a while. and it sucked.

so now that we do, i keep it ship shape.

i feel, there's so little in my life i have control over, one of the things i do is how clean my car and home are.

i even have an 'air freshner' - an old knee-high tight filled with dried lavender flowers that i top up with lavender oil and keep in the glove box.

Mine is a complete disgrace. Friends children have told me off for it being so messy. The other day I noticed that there is mould growing in the boot. Actually I am going to get off MN right now and clean that boot out!!!

I got a new (new to me) car in Jan and have tried to keep it tidier than the old one...

But I am failing atm. Very crumby and lots of used tissues

I do clear toys/bags/books/old snack tubs/umbrellas etc out every day though.

I don't have a car. I have a mobile extension to the understairs cupboard. It is clean because I let all the kids in my street clean it out ....but it won't be for long.

Mine is just awful. You can't get to the floor for empty water bottles, Smint containers (and I don't eat Smints), CD cases, nappies (unused), random bits of paper, muslins. The windows are smeared with dog snot. And the outside hasn't been cleaned since it was serviced in November.

Dh's is far, far worse...

My next door neighbour washes, polishes, and vacuums the inside of hers nearly every day.

MIne isn't too bad although it is the worst inside since I bought it! dd2 had a bun the other day on the way to dd1s swimming lesson, and crumbs are every where -thats why I banned eating in the car previously(and now again!)

Mine is tidy...but far from clean. I've had to borrow DH's car...and as a stinky mechanic by trade, it stinks! It smells like a big oily gearbox (had one in the boot when I got in it) The seat belt leaves a big black line across your top, and the steering wheel makes your hands sticky

my car is an absolute disgrace. im always ashamed when need to give someone a lift unexpectedly.

The Crumb Fairy visits my car every night and sprinkles a sackful of biscuit crumbs all over the "upholstery" (that's a laugh). She also likes ramming crumbs down the crevices of my DS and DD's car seats.

Dh calls my car the compost heap.

Mine is spotless. Its the only place and I go and not clear up!
I have a "take it with you on departure' policy.

FWIW the 'take it with you on departure' policy means my hall is a tip instead. But thats OK as I can go and sit in the car.
