Were you ever a fan of pirate radio stations?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place for my post, but here goes:

did you ever enjoy listening to pirate radio stations?

I didn't grow up in the UK but there were a couple of pirate radio stations in the country where I was raised. These stations were active from the 1960s through the early 1980s. I loved them! They played cool music and they had excellent DJs.
Sadly they all had to close down and there are none now as far as I know.

You have to be of more mature years to remember them! Yes, Radio London and Radio North Sea International. Much much better than Radio 1 when that came in.

I prefer Classic FM now.

I'm 49 and my mum used to listen to them. The radio was always on in our household.
