Morrison’s shop

So I had a Morrison’s shop delivered yesterday morning everything was fine. Until yesterday afternoon when I went to pay for something else online my card kept declining I checked my bank as I was due my maternity allowance on Monday so no reason to not have enough money. My money hadnt been paid in and is going to take another 3 working days for them to sort. The Morrison’s order wasn’t showing on my account which it wouldn’t as there wasn’t enough to cover it so im confused as to why they delivered when they didn’t take payment? Anyone had any experience and what should I do now as I can’t pay until my money is sorted but the shipping is already in my cupboards

I'd just wait for Morrison's to get in touch, hopefully the payment will go in before they get around to it.

I just feel really bad not contacting them but what would I say oh sorry you didn’t get payment thanks for the food I’ll pay when I can....don’t think they will take that

Maybe the bank has let you go into overdraft. Do you have this facility on your account, if so maybe Morrison's has already had the money, that's why everything went through ok and you've not heard from them. You might have more money in your account than you thought.
The money will go into your account tomorrow won't it. Try not to worry.

Ocado don't take the money until the next day (I'm sure morrisons and ocado are linked somehow) if there is not enough money there they will try again the next day and when you log into your account there will be a message to call customer services

Yes, I think I heard about Ocado and Morrison's being linked. They have the same website layout too. I shop with Ocado and just checked, yes next day debit. Sounds like they're quite flexible and not on your back straight away from what you say Tantrums

Ok so they will just keep trying until they can get it? I’m hoping I do get paid tomorrow just really don’t know what to do I I don’t ive waited weeks for this to be sorted thought it finally had to then be told another 3 days. All this because I had to take 3 months off sick during my pregnancy as I was on strict bed rest so I hadn’t earnt enough for my work to pay me my maternity pay and I had to claim maternity allowance instead. If it doesn’t get sorted this week I have no idea what I’m going to do can’t see them leaving me alone for long it’s pretty much stealing isn’t it
