laptop help - jumping keyboard

hello can anyone help me? I have a new laptop and cannot work out how to type on it without the words jumping around randomly. i can type slowly but if I type fast the words just jump around and i can't get a straight sentence out. any suggestions? as you can gather i am fairly crap with computers though have read the manual with no luck. it's an MSI

yes probably, my hand must hovver over it - but how can i stop this happening when i type? it is where my wrists are. i plug in a proper mouse so don't use the mouse thingie (touchpad).. anyway i can disable it??

Click on Mouse and change the pointing devise
