Is it just me, or does anyone else hate having social plans at the weekend? I detest the fact that I may have a party to go to or an event which will take up precious family/rest time. I find socialising exhausting after working five days a week, plus school runs, kids clubs etc and the getting ready...well I just cba!! I will work myself up for weeks if I have to go anywhere and give up my Saturday night or something! I’m aware I sound like a right barrel of laughs, but I promise it’s not like that, I have plenty of friends/family who I love spending time with, I just can’t be doing with the whole getting ready, going out, late night, early morning, likely hangover/tiredness then bam it’s sunday night and back to it again. Anyone else??

God no, I bloody love going out. My kids are older, mind - but no, a Saturday night on the razz is good fun.
