What has happpened to Harman?

Am i missing something I haven't seen her around for a while.Are you posting under a different name or is she busy with a new baby?

i don't think that Harman has consistent computer access anymore. i know that other MNetters are in touch with her, so can give more detail as to how she is doing now.

Harman doesn't have a pc at the moment, and is missing it loads! Hopefully she will be back soon though

(Pregnancy is going fine and everytime I want a ciggie I think of you and how good you are doing with what you are going through and I resolve not to!!)

Any more? - she thinks you've probably all forgotten her!! Is happy for me to pass on her mobile no., and some encouraging texts from her friends on here might cheer her up a bit. Come on you lot - most of you've 'known' her much longer than me and she really is having it tough at the moment, esp with no pc access. Feel free to contact me through CAT. Cheers folks!

Hi, I remember reading about you Harman, about the housing situation you being at your mums, could you not be put on the council/housing associations list in your area? Are you getting all or indeed any of the benefits you are entitled too?
Is there noone who has an old pc who can get you up and online again?

She was offered somewhere, but it was horrible (rough area, all boarded up etc, she'd have felt unsafe so turned it down). Has tried renting privately, but landlords are reluctant to take people on benefits! Kids (3 of them) v v clingy, so another pressure (they barely left her side today). I know she'd appreciate your support and thoughts (and texts) right now. Being 32 weeks pregnant and in this situation must be a total nightmare. Please, anyone who remembers harman and her situation, do get in touch via CAT to me and I will pass on her mob no. to you.

I don't have a mobile phone so wouldn't be able to text (or know how to ) but just wanted to send my best wishes to Harman and hope that this nightmare ends for her soon. xxxx

I was just wondering if there's anything that Harman will need for the new baby when he/she arrives? Presumably a lot of stuff got left behind at her old house. If we knew what she needed there may be MN'ers who have things that they don't need/want anymore and could pass on to her.

Does Harman still have a key to the house? Could she not return when ex=p is at work and remove anything she or the children might need? Including the computer???

Not sure about this Freckle - although I think she did try to get the pc but the disk-drive(?) was broken and it was working when she left. Her mum's place is v small (3beds) for everyone staying there - (her brother still lives there) so no room to set it up there anyway and no broadband available either and she'd worry about taking up the phone line. He is being verrrrrrry dfficult about every little thing, so discussing things doesn't seem to be an option! My sister has just rented a place near us and has asked the landlady if she hears of anywhere available to let us know - she's a nice lady and under the circumstances would be happy to let her places to harman, but has no-where available at the moment.

I gave Harman the number of a friend who is a letting agent. Friend said she had something coming up in August (this was several months ago) but I don't know what happened about that. Friend knows about Harman's status (i.e. 3 children, pregnant, benefits, etc.), so if she has something for her, I'm sure it would be suitable.
