upmystreet

just register it's free and you can see what house have been sold for via postcode or address. It lists the price that was registered with the land registry. Help you see how much your neighbours have just sold for etc and goes back 3+ years so you can see how much your house was purchased for.

If you know the post code ? put it in google (search uk only) and it will bring up a link to house prices in that area - should be one of the first pages found ?.did just that earlier this evening as it happens.

Just checked back through my history and found that the URL I was looking at through the google search was www.houseprices.co.uk ? you can search by area or postcode, but beware they don?t update until about 3-4 months after the sale completes.
