builderish question...white powdery stuff on the brickwork ???

Noticed this today,it's only below the dampcourse line.Anyone have any idea if I should be worried about it ?

Its just the salt coming out of the bricks. You can buy a brick cleaner in b&qs if it bothers you.

yes it is salty,thanks for the reassurance,am not bothered about the appearance was just worried it may be mould or something.

I rubbed some on my fingers,didn't snort.T'was quite salty!
