I was in an extremely large supermarket, and had already bought (paid for!) most of my purchases in another section. I hunted for pile cream (a new experience, I've not had this little problem before!) though there was none in the pharmacy section, lo and behold - there it was in the baby section (nice sense of humour this particular shop has ). So, off I waddled (due to pregnancy, not piles I'd like to add!) and bought one or two bits and bobs at another section, entirely forgetting about the pile cream glaring happily at everyone from the bottom of my practically empty trolley.
I realised I hadn't paid for it as soon as I started loading the car, but couldn't bring myself to go back in brandishing the damn stuff and having to explain myself!
I'm extremely thankful the alarms didn't go off.......can you imagine!
