My Little Girl is 21 very soon, when she was about 14 her Toy frog went missing whilst on a Cruise, it was like a death, we never found frog and couldn't even bury the body she was heart broke, and it still brings a tear to her eye.
So, how can I get another?
I am now busy looking for a photo with out her knowing.

I'm sure people will try to help if you can give any more details or post a photo OP.

Please post a picture when you find one! I love the search and I love things like this!

I did a similar thing for DD when she turned 16. She hadn't lost her favourite bear, but her favourite story as a toddler, was how her French bear came to be hers. (He came from some French friends). I had such a long involved story about him being the only bear left of the shelve in a toy shop, getting here with a little pack pack by sea, land and air etc.

So, I search for his twin brother! Grin. She was doing French GCSE at the time and her bear's long lost twin brother arrived with a note, equally as involved and written in French!

She's 22 now and they both sit on the head board of her bed!

I love the Bored Panda post how would I do that?
Well assuming we can find him?
Frog was a similar story.
In about 2000 ish a friend was closing a Children's play business and gave us a few toys, frog was amongst them already a few years old, as you can guess he was well used, our daughter loved him.
Now i might be wrong but I thought his label was something to do with a card shop?

What about this? I know there's rather more frogs than you need, but for under a tenner, the one top left is pretty close!

Funf · 18/10/2017 17:16

Thanks Maureen but it has to be the same one, I just can't understand having spent hours on the internet and being a regular at the local car boot I have never seen another.

The lostrich elephant photos have brought a tear to my eye. How lovely.

Son has my Teddy Bear some one gave it to me in the 60s, it was second hand them we believe its from the 40s? Bought another at a Car boot for £1 and another spare for a few quid in an Antique shop, I can find a 70 year old teddy but not a 20 year old frog!

You could see if someone could make him. Go into a sewing shop and ask.

The Bored Panda post says that they posted the picture on "Reddit"
You could do the same.
