Present for 7yr old boy

My friend has just had a baby, going to visit, but taking a wee gift for her 7yr old son. Need some ideas for the present for the 7yr old, totally out of touch as my boy is 13, so can't even remember what 7yr old boys are into!! Looking for something between £5-£10.

We took some Duplo up last week for our 6 year old grandson, he seemed to love it (pirate ship and characters) but that was £15. As I remember kids that age seem to love lego and or duplo. Ps Tesco had a lot of toys reduced last week, I presume they're clearing space for Christmas toys.

I would say that Duplo is too young for a 7 year old.

How about some Pokeman cards/ Top Trumps?
