Techy help please - laptop in need

I dont know what ds did to our laptop last night but under my profile the whole screen is turned 90 degrees to teh right, and the touch mousepad is the wrong way round too. My dh's profile is ok. How can I fix it

It varies with the laptop - what make is yours? You can find the manual online, which should tell you how to fix it.

Try holding down Ctrl & alt together & pressing the left arrow key

its a Dell Inspiron 6400

Ctrl-alt-up arrow. Try that. Works on mine (inspiron 1300)
