Hurrah for lie-in, though not sporting Activity so DH and DS are here and no chill-out time in the house for me, and a charming vomit-comet cat when I went down for breakfast.

Well of all the fun things you can do on a rainy Saturday morning in a town centre, that was not one of them. They didn’t have the stuff I was looking for (office stationery - oh please, stop, the excitement) but still got a few other bits and pieces for the DC.

Been to the hairdresser so my hair is all swishy. Also went to Systembolaget and bought wine and then did some food shopping. Relaxing on the couch now. Feel like I need to do something productive this afternoon, maybe go for a walk or maybe not.

mine needs a wash. Unless there is a HBF reading, in which case my hair is glossy and swishy and not got dirt and leaves in it from gardening. Not at all. Or it has, and said HBF will have to have a shower with me to help me get it clean..

I have been in the garden clearing ground and digging out weeks. Thrilling stuff. Plus I stripped last night's roast chicken and have put the carcass in the slow cooker for stock...

Fancy - ditto to letUs's ironing comments. We don't want to have to put the fire brigade on standby in case you accidentally see some of Strictly...
