Yes, Pleaseandthankyou...

We're watching Last Leg, but actually I think I'm going to head for the hayloft....

LetUsPrey · 29/09/2017 23:23

Hope he sorts things out for you Helen. Might just need plugging in a bit more firmly

Am off to the chateau. I mentioned to Aramis I was feeling a bit ragey and he looked thoroughly excited. He does like violence in a woman Grin

FancyFancy · 30/09/2017 00:11

KLAXON for MADAME - Idris Elba on Graham Norton next week.....

Badders08 · 30/09/2017 07:11

Ooh who's that then Madame??

LetUsPrey · 30/09/2017 08:36

Morning wenches.

I do like Idris Elba . I’d love to go out for drinks with him. Mind you, I bet he could charm me into bed - he strikes me as very charming and charismatic. So let’s try that theory - for science

Oooo Badderz I know this one, for Madame, she has taught me well. It’s Charlie Cox who is in Daredevil. It’s on Netflix which I don’t —yet— have. He was also —according to google— in Stardust. Madame wishes he was in some—one— thing else too.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/09/2017 08:49

Morning ☕ Off to fika. Have a fab day everyoneSmile

LetUsPrey · 30/09/2017 08:58

Enjoy fika Wicked. Hope it’s fabulous!

I should go and get in the shower. Have to go shopping for many birthday cards, gift for nephew, then do the homework nagging thing, I’ve promised DS2 we’ll make fudge (why?!?), and washing, etc.

I’ll just sit here instead.

MadamedeChevreuse · 30/09/2017 09:13

badders he is so fucking hot. Since stumbling across Daredevil on Netflix a few weeks back I have had shit for brains
been in a state of highly distractable, aching lust.

The chest waxing is a shame, but then again his abs are spectacular.

Badders08 · 30/09/2017 09:17

Hmmmm
Daredevil...i shall him that out

MadamedeChevreuse · 30/09/2017 09:28

It is very violent in places though - I just skip through the worst bits. Not your average Marvel vehicle...

Right I have to get my arse up cos we're away for the weekend and supposed to have got up really early.

Have a great fika ww and great weekends everyone else, with minimal drudgery Grin

Badders08 · 30/09/2017 09:41

Dh away this morning :(
Dc going up to pils for a couple of hours to pick apples so I might make a crumble tomorrow
Off out whilst I can to run errands

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/09/2017 11:31

Ermmm. Morning. I have spent all morning in bed with Athos sleeping in and am in a state of bleary slightly light-headedness that comes from too much sleep and then being woken up by the phone. I was planning to spend the morning clearing through the piles of windfalls (we may need a freezer at this rate).

Idris Elba was on my FB feed a while back reading some fanfic
about him... Falls off chair laughing. What a star Grin

Speaking of films being 30 (WW was anyway) I was reading something yesterday about films being revived and shown at cinemas, including Princess Bride which they said is 30 Shock

Must go - washing machine is beeping at me....

FancyFancy · 30/09/2017 11:34

Morning, am lazing around after a late breakfast. I think the washing has finished but can't be arsed to check.

LetUsPrey · 30/09/2017 11:48

Princess Bride? 30? No, no I don’t think so. That absolutely cannot be right.

Shopping done. Went into Game, couldn’t find what I wanted, had to ask for help. I felt like my mother back in the day shopping with a list in HMV.

whose are these restraints? They’re not mine because I tidied mine away. it says Athos. Helen, can you make sure he puts things away please - I meant afterwards Grin

Badders08 · 30/09/2017 11:48

Oven cleaned ✔
2 loads washing done✔
Errands run ✔
Am now going to put my feet up for a bit
Tomorrow is ironing and baking...ugh

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/09/2017 12:17

Blush Soz LetUs Grin
ooooooooooooohhh - DH won a giant jar of Nutella in a raffle - I thought of you Smile

LetUsPrey · 30/09/2017 12:36

Giant jar of Nutella? Guess what I thought of Grin

In the meantime I shall put the washing out . Suppose it’ll count as exercise before I eat Badderz’s crumble

ApricotCrush · 30/09/2017 13:39

Hello wenches from very wet and windy Wales. Yesterday was ok, we were able to go for a walk but not today, which is just as well as one of DH's knees has blown up like a balloon for no particular reason. Confused We'll probably go to a little gifte shoppe we like later if I can drag DH away from the football.

Talking about films being 30 years old, Radio 1 started 50 years ago today and I remember it well. Shock I got up to go to work and put the radio on, it was so exciting. The only music you could get was Radio Luxembourg which was only on in the evening and pirate radio which was rubbish quality. It was a revelation.

Hope WW is enjoying her fika and Madame has a good weekend away. Love to everyone else. Smile

FancyFancy · 30/09/2017 14:27

Mmm fika....have a lovely time ww

Likewise madame, have a great trip

Ah apricot, you're getting the full wet Welsh experience Grin Hope you stay dry & that MrA's knee improves - we do worry about him!

How's the crumble letus?

Cup of tea time,' load no.2 optimistically in teh machine. What to do while I'm waiting for that to finish...........

I've managed two loads Fancy and all dried Shock also stewed up two lots of pears, roasted tomatoes, stuck dinner in the slow cooker, defrosted a freezer and stacked the wood that DH has chopped. I have been a paragon of domestic productivity.

I must deserve some HBF for doing all that? (Or a slap and told to get a grip, because that's what life involves and really, just get on with it.) Or both Grin

Oh - TBO [[https://twitter.com/TomBurkeOnlinex/status/913805725637513218
tweeted a photo]] of the Jackal interview. Which I squinted at a lot. It says that he's doing pottery for a hobby now - so that should get him a break from gifts of potatoes and tea bags. Um... being in Musketeers was 'fun - it felt a bit like being in a boy band' and he read The Conspiracy Against the Human Race and decided that he was a pessimist. And he laughs at himself a lot.

Erm... and now I need to encourage DS with his homework...

Hope Madame is having a nice time, and apricot hasn't been washed away. Sad re. MrApricot's knee - is that the one he hurt before? (He hurt his knee, didn't he? Or am I imagining that?) also hope WW is having a nice fika

Right, homework....

LetUsPrey · 30/09/2017 18:05

Evening wenches. Back from visiting parents, via McDs for the DC. DH is on his way back from the football and is calling at the chippy!

Am in awe of your productivity Helen. You absolutely deserve HBF rewards.

Eeeek at MrApricot’s knee. Must have been very exciting to listen to that first broadcast of Radio 1, especially when there wasn’t anything else like that around.

I plumped for some Paella instead Fancy Wink

Hope Madame is having fun and Wicked is feeling thoroughly fika’d.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/09/2017 18:32

Have a fab weekend Madame!

I wish I had a chippy nearby Envy

Did you buy anything nice Apes?

Had both lunch and fika, I got a giant chocolate ball Smile We went to this place, Gysinge Bruk

Badders08 · 30/09/2017 18:34

Just had a fish finger sandwich

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/09/2017 18:36

Gysinge is an old mill town (?)from the 1600's, we have several of those in Sweden, where blacksmiths from Vallonia worked, a lot of Swedes have Vallonian ancestors, including me.
