If it doesn't smell and it's not a funny colour, go for it! You'll be frying it up for the bolognese anyway so it'll be well cooked.

If you're unsure, give it a wash - I know that sounds a bit odd, but a lot of people wash meat that's near/on its sellby to get rid of any possible 'nasties'. And I'm not dead yet...

Now back to the hand lotion/chavscum sagas...

do you mean you bought it two days ago, and it's been in the fridge ever since? If so, I'd use it having done a sniff test!

Yep I would use it if it is only 2 days old (after a snif test of course!) unless it was on special offer when you bought it, you know buy me quick coz I expire tomorrow type thing!!
