Need to get a birthday present for 8 year old nephew-anyone any ideas?

Hi,
I need to buy my nephew a birthday present-he will be 8.He is quite worldly wise and into things like Pirates of the Carribean and Star Wars-but has alot of stuff to do with them so want to avoid going down that path..anyone any ideas?(My dd only 14months so no idea what 8 year olds are in to right now)

My 8 year old DS is heavily into Warhammer at the moment. He's too young to play the actual game but loves painting the little figures. You can get a basic set with around four figures and the paints for £10 or so.

a dvd like Flushed Away maybe?
or clothes - my nephew loves anything to do with the England footie team so maybe that's an idea?
