That's it really! For MIL. Had a look in shops but nothing jumped out at me. Am now thinking flowers, but that's what we've gotten her for the last couple of years.

Do people buy Easter gifts?

I never have done

Clary · 03/04/2007 15:10

crikey do we have to buy Easter gifts then

It's all I can do to cover close family bases at this time of year - Ds2 b/day, DH b/day and wedding anniversary in the middle!

Seriously, how about a nice plant for her garden? Good time of year to put one in.

I buy something for the children (mine and nephews) and that is it. Even that is going a bit mad because we have received 6 eggs already.

We're staying over Easter so a pressie seems like the least we should do and I know they'll buy us some lush eggs as per usual, not to mention that there'll be lots of fab booze and huge meals while we're there.
Had to laugh at sunnywong's suggestion - don't think we'll ever be on those kind of terms!
Dss are 3 1/2 yrs and 3 /1/2 months so plate etc. painting not really suitable yet (do plan to get ds1 to make a card though - not expecting much he's really not interested).
May have to be flowers after all.
