Can someone help with Hotmail question please ...

I want to change my details as they would appear in the 'from' column of e-mail in-box, ie. if I send a message, I don't like what I've chosen as my 'from' particulars (not the same as my e-mail address). I've gone into the personal information tab but although I can make the changes there, it still shows mostly the same 'from' details. Sorry - badly explained but can anyone help please?

I know what you mean Millie, and I want to do this as well.... so I will bump this and hope someone who knows can answer this then I will know as well

Lets assume youve got Windows and are using OUtlook express.

Openit, go to Tools, accounts, Then email tab.
Find your emai loaccount then click properties. You can then change the details there. Both the name that you send from and the email address that its from if you want. Eg your email address could be [email protected] but your sending name could be Missus Smith and your reply address could be [email protected].
