Silly question, but how do you remove odours from a microwave? We had a curry on saturday, and the bloomin' thing still stinks. It makes everything i put in there stink, including DD purees! Have washed it, boiled lemon juice in it and left it open over night - what next?

Bicarb. of soda solution. Wipe it out and leave door open for a while.

if you spray the bicarb solution and leave it ver night you find get gets rid of every thing failing that white vinegar

those nice ladies on How Clean is your house? suggested a bowl of plain water with slices of lemon in microwave, for 3 mins on high I think, to steam-clean and take away pongs.

(sorry, hadn't noticed you'd already tried lemon)

I find lemon works better if you use pure lemon essence, available from Lakeland ltd.
