Here is the problem:
It washes the clothes. they come out smelling clean and soap powdery. The water takes the powder and the softener, ti goes throught its cycle and it drains the water out fully.

However, I did a 95 degree wash, whites, to get rid of baby stains, and not only did it not get rid of the stains but normal dirt marks, and bits of grub did not get washed off.

Took out dispenser which was dirty anyway, cleaned it, and behind it, put same clothes on 30 degree wash, and still not cleaning at all, although smlls loverly and clean
Any ideas?

Please help as I have a lot of washing that needs washing, DD has no clothes left to wear (almost!) and its nice out so I want to put out some washing!!
Pleeeeease?

is it taking as long as usual to run the cycle? is it turning round as much as it should? never had this happen to me. is it definitely rinsing? is the machine filling up properly? i would put a wash on (low) and watch the machine to see what it's doing.

Try running it on 95° empty but with small amount of soda crystals in soap dispenser.

Then try another wash. Could you be overloading it?

It is spinning properly, as washing comes out as dry as always, not soaking wet. I do not know if it is rinsing properly, but did an empty wash and it appeared to be rinsing fine? The smell is not overly soap powdery, jmust usual clean washing smell, but with no clean sopts!?! It is certainly filling up properly.
Just phoned Hotpoint actually, they do not know what prob is either, but also suggested that we run a 95 degree wempty wash, twice. They also said that we should do this once a month to maintian efficiency of the machine (and increase our electricity bill, but have a deal with EDF!). However I will try adding the soda cystals and see what happens. I am sure the pipes etc could do with a clean!
Funnily enough, although machin is in guarantee still, they cannot find any record of us registering with them. convenient, means we got to dig out proof of purchase paperowk. ARGH!
