no seriously! Must be local pollution or wahtever and its very low, so guessing the pinky hue will fade as it rises... but it's really extra beautiful tonight

Blimey! I'm planted firmly on the sofa because of SPD and I can't actually see it from this window anymore without bending backwards.. Moves quick doesn't it? Is that something to do with it being big and low to begin with?

Moon the usual colour here (yorkshire) can anyone else see really bright planet/star? Don't think it's a star - possibly Mars?

LOL @ worng moon!

DS2 pointed out the moon to me tonight as i was closing his curtains. Was especially pleased as his language is very limited...altho thought he was calling me a moo

Moon was lovely and very white here (odd how its different colours for different people) .. looks very full is it 2moro or yday she is full?

Wow! I'm down in Cornwall and it's gorgeous. A sort of orangey gold colour. Lovely! Anyone know why it's this colour?

I had 2 Jehovah's witnesses knock on my door earlier today, and one of the things they said was to look at the full moon this evening. I've only just remembered after reading this thread - thankyou treacletart!

i saw thwe moom and it was absolutely amazing at around 8pm.
big and orange and beautiful.
