My husband is quite artistic, so when my daughter wanted a silhouette of a fairy on the wall he agreed to do it. Now I not an unappreciative person as a rule, but he has drawn it on and coloured it in using a black sharpie pen. The wall is painted a very pale pink(matte vinyl paint) and is not lining paper, this is directly onto the plaster. I painted it a very pale colour in anticipation that in a few years time she might hate pink. I suspect she may also think the fairy and butterfly a bit babyish. I'm just flabbergasted that anyone in their right mind would use permanent marker on the feckin wall. What land of bloody la la is he on? I can say anything yet as my daughter is delighted and he's proud of the end result. 😢
