Putting web links in posts...

Why can't I put more than one link in a post? I've seen it done so it can't be impossible! Whenever I try, anything between the first link and the last one disappears.

It's driving me mad!

I still haven't worked out how to do one.

SoupDragon · 24/06/2002 18:00

Instructions for that are here !

Ok, will try 2 links. Mumsnet home is here

WideWebWitch · 24/06/2002 19:31

And you're right, everything I typed after that, including another link disappeared. Weird. Sorry don't know why though.

And I thought it was just me. It's really annoying, isn't it! Where's a Tech when you need one to explain and maybe rectify?

Alibubbles · 25/06/2002 11:19

I followed www's instructions. lets try it again !

It won't let you put two links in, I've tried!

SoupDragon · 25/06/2002 22:22

Look at JJs post on this thread (Sat 22nd, 10:16am) and there are 2 links!

PamT · 25/06/2002 22:26

I haven't tried doing links myself but does it work if they are in separate paragraphs?

SoupDragon · 26/06/2002 08:49

link1 Well, let's see...

And another paragraph link2

Bizarre - I had them in different paragraphs before as part of the "bubble machine hunt" post and it just chopped great chunks out. Maybe it's one of those fickle things... Or maybe I'm just losing my mind...

On a similar topic, Tech, when I try to do a search for a word in a particular topic, eg. looking for milk under 'Food', I get results for milk in all the topics - why doesn't it narrow it down?
