Does anyone have a clio as featured in tonights watch dog?

I do!

I have called them and renault say "yes your car is as featured on the programme, we suggest it is safe and just be sure that the bonnet is closed properly and heres the number for your local renault garage who will check it for you"

GRRRRRRRR they are telling me my car is safe mean while MPs are debating in parliament weather to insist on renault having a compulsory recall? Who do i believe?

They also say it should be checked on MOT, (my car passed its MOT just last week)

Obviously i'll get it checked out ASAP but going to be drving children around in car tomorrow.

Wondering if i should still drive? But then i NEED to drive.... grrrr

(i have seen the previouse watch dog reports, but i got the impression that the problem was with the secondary safety catch, ie if the bonnet was closed properly it would be fine, but now it seems the problem is with the main catch as well )
