Well done.... you will really enjoy it! I did my diploma maths assesment last months and i can promise you it was very easy! example of questions.... what is the fourth month of the year?
14/7 = what?
all multiple choice
20 questions in 20 mins.
and you only need 10 corect to continue to individual interview and english assesment.
I guess you will be applying for the diploma?(More money!) where are you wanting to study?

NomDePlume · 16/07/2004 13:24

At last some good news !!! Congratulations honey, you REALLY deserve it. One more step in your quest for a better life for you and your lovely little girl, well done you for grabbing the opportunity with both hands.

I hope to go and do a Nursing degree once I'm done having kids, so I'll be watching your experience unfold with interest. What area do you want to go into - Adults, Childrens, Psychiatric etc ?

Best of luck, it'll bring out your self-confidence like you won't believe. Really, genuinely thrilled for you, Nikki.

Congratulations Nikcola, that's great news!

chloeb2002 · 17/07/2004 23:17

hey tiredeema, just a quick note... i really wanted to do midwifery and still do. Im sure you are aware but it is ammazingly competeive and subjective there are very very few places! I was interviewed by three unis for a place on BSC midwifery studies and no offers but when i aske dfor feedback from two of them one said young child tipped the balance and the other said no problems on interview just not enough places for even all the strongest candidates . So id reccomend applying for a plan b? as you shouldnt apply for both nursing and midwifery on one UCAS form ( they dont like it) i applied for the adult diploma too as my plan b and got an offer loads more money, can do post reg midwifery straight after qualifying if i still want to, and the advanced credits at diploam mean the trust would pay for one years study to top up to degree in any choosen speciality!

libb · 17/07/2004 23:22
