4 calls today, 4!!
They call you then when you pick up you have to wait for them to get around to answer you. Then they ask for some random person all in the attempt to get you talking.
Evil cold caller"can I speak to so and so please"
Hacked off housewife "no sorry, noone of that name lives here"
Evil cold caller " Can I ask who i am speaking to please"
Hacked off housewife "no" ................................(hangs up)
I finally got one of these Ecc's talking for long enough to ask what company he was calling from he said people loans, but I googled them and nothing came up. He asked if I wanted a loan and I said no then he hung up.
I know its not that big a deal, a few seconds of my time and all that but invariably im feed ds or in the middle of xyz at the time and as our house is on the market any call could be a potential buyer so im rushing to get evey call like a mad woman.
What really bugs me tho is that weve registered ourselves on the list for no cold calling and I have asked these Ecc's sooooo many times to take our number off their list but no the calls keep coming.
Also when you do 1471 the number is 02222222222 yet try to call it back and all you get is "sorry the number you have dialed has not been recognised"
