I'm so sorry Flowers

My husband killed himself out of the blue over a year ago now. It should have been his 30th birthday this week. I still have days where it feels surreal. It took me months to come out of shock. You will no doubt hear loads of cliches in the coming months like suicide grief is 'grief with the volume turned up'.

Yes, it will probably start hitting you later, no doubt you're in shock now. Don't feel bad if you're not feeling much right now. It will help you get everything done.

It will slowly get better. As awful as it sounds now, you will slowly reach some sort of acceptance. Talk as much as you can, cry as much as you need to. It helps to get it all out of your body. Seek out counselling (Cruse?) or SOBS groups if you feel you need it.

Message me if I can help with anything x
