After school activities - how much is too much?

DS (nearly 6) has just been picked to receive a free course of tennis lessons at our local David Lloyd.
He already has a swimming lesson on a tuesday, judo on thursday and swimming on friday. They have offered monday 5pm for the lesson (it will be for 10 weeks) but I think it will be too much.
I know that we can just try it and see and I know all children are different but I'm just wondering how much other children do after school.

I agree it sounds too much ,could you ask for it to be deferred until the summer holidays?

DD also six, does drama on a Sat morning and a swin lesson on a Thurs = I think you're right to have reservations - how much swimming can 1 small boy do?

he's only having lessons twice a week at the moment because

  1. they are with different people and in different pools and so the lessons themselves are quite different
  2. he loves both sessions and doesn't want to stop either.

Good idea about asking to defer it ggirl but I think it's just a marketing ploy so I doubt they will agree. I shall ask though.
