I don't want to go at all but I need to go.

Which will be the best option do you think? 'Best' as in least crowded.

Tonight at about 7.30?
Or tomorrow at about 1pm?

Deffo tonight.

Nan0second · 30/06/2017 15:10

Never ever ever on a Saturday!!

Nan0second · 30/06/2017 15:10

(Never on a bank holiday either)

WhyHasAllTheRumGone · 30/06/2017 15:10

Tonight. It will be absolutely bonkers tomorrow afternoon.

PunjanaTea · 30/06/2017 15:11

Friday evening without a doubt.

YellowLawn · 30/06/2017 15:11

friday evening or sat as late as you can (we sometimes have dinner there and shop after)

Closetlibrarian · 30/06/2017 15:11

Tonight! I quite like a late evening Ikea trip [saddo emoticon]

CantStandMeow · 30/06/2017 15:12

Definetly tonight!

I love going to Ikea in the evening. So much more civilised, until you have to squash everything into the car Grin

Maria1982 · 30/06/2017 15:13

Tonight!!! Not on a Saturday, ever, if it can be helped

PutThatPomBearBack · 30/06/2017 15:34

Tonight!!!! Unless you don't mind tomorrow being your last day to live.

00alwaysbusymum · 30/06/2017 15:38

We normally go about 8pm and it's fine, late Saturday is good too (7 ish)

MadisonAvenue · 30/06/2017 15:39

Tonight.
Weekends and bank holidays are when it's best avoided (and the few weeks post A-level results when the university freshers are getting ready to leave home).

SoupDragon · 30/06/2017 15:46

My initial response was "holy crap! Not Saturday!"

mckenzie · 30/06/2017 15:47

Tonight it is then. Thank you for all the replies.

Have fun! I need to plan a trip as we're out of frozen meatballs!

MadisonAvenue · 30/06/2017 16:02

I've suddenly got the urge to go tonight now, not that I need anything...just fancy a mooch.
You can bet I'll come out with a plant, a picture frame, tea lights, a storage container and a hotdog.

mckenzie · 01/07/2017 08:16

I got side tracked last night and didn't go. Will it be really dire today?

I know what I want.
I'll be able to use the self service tills.
I won't even need a trolley.
Shall I go for it?

Get there as it opens and be a ninja.

BrutusMcDogface · 01/07/2017 08:23

I would definitely avoid it on a Saturday afternoon, by all
Costs! Could you go late in the evening as suggested by pps?

Think this weekend will be particularly busy as it was payday yesterday for a lot of people.

I'm out tonight, and out quite early, so I think I'll just go now.
I'm quite good at sticking to my list.
I don't like shopping and I'm not one for candles etc.
I do like a nice storage solution but I will make myself skip that section Grin

I'm on the way to IKEA right now, so I'm hoping it won't be too dire!

MadisonAvenue · 01/07/2017 11:32

We went last night, we're about 15 minutes from the Wednesbury one. I got a cactus, a sieve, a dustpan and brush and a fold-up black and white shopping bag Grin

Oh, and we had our free coffees too.
