Anyone? I know you Tom Hardy fans are out there. Bet it's a Tom Hardy hater who posts first though....

The very young pics of him that meanager posted are really cute though.

MoonPower · 29/07/2017 18:48

Like this one too!

Ah the furrowed brow too. I need to add that to the list up there ^ No I agree re:massive beards but Tom is not a wearer of that type of beard. I do love a beard. Especially on him.

Why are the head wrinkles so sexy?!

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 29/07/2017 18:50

He was very cute as a youngster. But I prefer him now a bit older.
Oh that's the DeNiro face - he does that a lot Grin
Listen to Me, like I actually know him Blush

Maybe the head wrinkles are sexy because we imagine soothing them away. With our tongues. Or something Wink

I'm a beard fan. They're like an aphrodisiac for me!

Not many men I would take clean-shaven. Just DH and Tom really (and DH is not allowed to shave, so that leaves Tom Grin).

Nice pics moonpower and I agree on the head wrinkles.

Earless I'm totally with you! Older Tom is better. In fact, any man I like seems to be better in their late 30s/40s than they were in their 20s in my opinion.

MoonPower · 29/07/2017 19:04

Oh yes he's defs better older!
Just really cute when young Wink

MoonPower · 29/07/2017 19:05

More shaggable when older.

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 29/07/2017 19:08

Wine, do you think the goal posts move a bit as you get older? I'm 41 and see men in their 50's that are hot that I wouldn't have considered in my 20's, say?

Moon, his skin was divine in his 20's and he was just all smoochy and sweet. I did fancy him as Freddie in The Take but pre-2008ish- too young!!!!

Earless I'm 41 too!

Agree - our parameters are shifting Wink

MoonPower · 29/07/2017 22:05

Same age here too!
Think we are his intended demographic 😆

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 29/07/2017 22:29

Well he's almost 40 himself I guess?

I am watching Inception. This is my face right now: Confused.

Still, it's a good reason to put a lovely Eames photo on. He's very cuddly as Eames.

Well I am back and just WOW! I was not disappointed with Dunkirk. It is an absolutely fantastic film. Totally heartbreaking. Our Tom was just a heavenly angel in the skies. You do get to see his whole face at certain points which is just 😍 Of course. No thighs but I can totally forgive that this time. Harry styles was also quite impressive in it too.

wineusuallyhelps · 30/07/2017 07:34

Brilliant mean, I can't wait!

Meanwhile, I watched Mad Max for the first time. 1. What the hell? 2. Not enough talking from Tom Grin

I'm going to watch The Drop again next, then Warrior. Need to find the Revenant from somewhere too. When I watched it in the cinema, I had not yet 'discovered' Tom! Must've been blind and stupid.

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 30/07/2017 09:29

Is he not a bit gnarly in The Revenant? I didn't watch it when it came out because I didn't like the sound of the bear fight Blush This was also pre-Tom Obsession days.

I've not seen Mad Max either - I remember watching the original as a wee thing and it freaked me out massively . Then Tina Turner got involved and it was just daft after that Grin.

Can't remember if we've discussed this or not but him and Charlize Theron apparently didn't get on at all.

Oh and glad you enjoyed Dunkirk. I'll have to wait for it to be available to watch on demand which is a shame as I think it probably suits the big screen better. How did he look in that roll top sweater? Like a big cuddly bear?

OP posts:
MeanAger · 30/07/2017 10:47

He did look pleasingly cuddly. Really didn't see any of him outside his spitfire until the very end so you were only seeing from shoulders upwards.

I didn't enjoy mad max. It's not generally my kind of film anyway so I wasn't expecting to but watched for Tom.

The revenant surprised me as, again, I wasn't expecting to enjoy because I really don't like LDC and I knew he was the lead role. However I did enjoy it. Tom is a bastard in it. You can't like his character at all and he looks least like himself in it than anything else I've seen him in.

wineusuallyhelps · 30/07/2017 15:17

He is absolutely horrible in the Revenant - he does a brilliant job. It's a great film. I need to watch it again now I know who Tom Hardy is, if you see what I mean!

Nadinexo1 · 30/07/2017 17:56

Omg how have I only just noticed this thread? I'll be up reading from the beginning tonight to catch up . If only there was a Michael fassbender thread too then life would be perfect, however I may get jealous realising how many other women love them, im a bit too obsessed with both.

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 30/07/2017 18:43

Nadinexo this thread is a hidden gem and you're very welcome onto it. Don't worry, we share Tom, very nicely, and have developed a sort of team approach to it all. (Well the 3 of us that still regularly post on it Grin).

Welcome, nadine Grin

Personally I've just fallen down a YouTube rabbit hole and now I have a (non-sexual) crush on his wife too. She seems really nice. The cow!!!! Ha!

EarlessToothlessVagabond · 30/07/2017 18:59

God, he reminds me of someone in that picture Wine, but I can't think who...

I agree about his wife. She's bloody gorgeous too. So petite and pretty. He does go for small brunettes
She seems funny and down to earth, similar to him really!

I love Charlotte Riley! She is a fantastic actress. I really loved her in wuthering heights.

And Grin @ shatford!
