We are living in North London and my dp has just got a teaching job in Thetford (just on the Suffolk/Norfolk boarder). We don't actually want to live in Thetford so are looking in a 45 minutes' drive radius. Suffolk education authority is supposed to be better than Norfolk so we are looking in North-ish Suffolk. I have a son, 4 and a half years (due to go to reception in September) and a 16 month old daughter so I(/we!) need to find a decent primary school. Any advice on family-friendly locations (small towns or villages are fine)?
