I am the only wife to have a Dh like mine.

He moaned today about how I spend MY birthday money.

I bought a web cam and headset for my pc, and as I am self employed I bought a shredder for my documents etc, he stood there and coldly look me in the face and said you wasted you money on those things, I said yes it MY birthday money, I can spend it how I like.

He then replied, I told you I didnt want a shredder, so I sadi well thats ok it aint for you anyway.

Bl**dy cheek. Men huh!!!!!

Poor you!!! He should keep his nose out of how you spend money that is unquestionably YOURS!!! If that stuff makes you happy, he should be over the moon!!!

wobblyknicks · 10/07/2004 18:05

Test your new shredder by seeing how quickly it goes through his ties.

Thomcat · 10/07/2004 18:12

Bet he's there shreding things and filming himself on the webcam this time next week!!!!!!!

Marina · 10/07/2004 18:15

Or Ronniebaby could feed something else of his through the shredder...

wobblyknicks · 10/07/2004 18:17

marina - she's only just bought it - she doesn't want to be cleaning it already!!! Or maybe that would be a small price to pay....

Ronniebaby · 11/07/2004 00:11

Well ladies, I want to use my shredder before I need to repair it.

Do you not think that thought hadn't crossed my mind already

Dh is nver over the moon about anything I do, he's toooo selfish to care about anyone but him.

Altho get this he can spend his money on Cd's etc, the fact we have over 600 doesnt come into it.

Arghhhhhhhhhh

Thanks for you comment sladies, made me

Could you be very sneaky, and provoke a disagreement in front of the webcam? Then play the footage to him so he can see exactly how daft it is?
But the shredding suggestions are soooo tempting...

alexsmum · 11/07/2004 00:41

ronniebaby do I sense that you and your dh have"issues"?

Ronniebaby · 11/07/2004 01:00

Alexsmum - DH and I have always had issues. I cant do anything right, buy anything right, say anything right, I'm just not perfect, neither is he, but he married me, you'd think after 13 yrs, he'd be used to me by now.

Ask Madamebutterfly, she knows my Dh, anythign I say she'll back me up.

Ronniebaby · 11/07/2004 01:02

Eddm - he'd just say that wasnt him and I doctored it to make him look bad, he says things to me then a week later denys them and tells me I'm making it up

Tee money for the webcam and headset was from her mum. Not sure that HE gave RB for her birthday

Ronniebaby · 11/07/2004 23:51

MB - I had a rainy holiday in Portugal with "friends" (you know). I did have a CD from DS and got to choose some perfume, from duty free from DH. So I cant complain about that. It's just the fact that whoever gave me the money, I should be able to spend it how I want, (not in my DH's eyes)

The money MB is right about, except my Mother bought me those things, forgot that she had and gave me more money, so that was what I bought the shredder with, in fact I still have £20 left over.

Right enough about it.
