EBay question

I'm a bit new to eBay so sorry if this is an obvious question. I have sold a top and have been awaiting payment, I contacted the buyer who has now come back and asked me to add the postage costs to Germany. I had no idea I was posting to Germany so had just put the usual costs. What do I need to do now? Apologies for being dim...

You can look this up on the Royal Mail postage calculator. You might want to check you aren't advertising as posting to any country the buyer wishes as IME it can cause issues with haggling over postage/if it gets lost etc.

OK thanks I'll try that, not sure how to answer her though as I think she needs to know how much it will be.

Take the wrapped item into your local Post Office and ask them how much it will be to post to Germany, then ask her to add the difference to her payment.

I always tick the No International Postage box as it saves you extra work, although it does limit your buyers.
