Why is it that...

... when you go away for the weekend leaving DH in charge of the children they have a fantastic time doing this and that but none of the week's laundry gets done?

Another whinge... he said "They've been complete angels all weekend" Yes - because you've been giving them 100% attention and not doing the laundry etc!

Not that I mind really, it's just one of those minor irritations we have to live with.

I LOVE my lie in on a Saturday but when i come downstairs, i always grit my teeth as the WHOLE house looks a tip, dp always says," she's been good as gold!!"
