What refreshments do you leave for your babysitter?

I've only ever used my brothers or mum before. Or else my kids go for a sleepover at a friend's. What do you leave out if a non-family member comes over to sit for the evening?!

Am busy working and no time to think so TIA!

I don't use babysitters. But if I did, I would probably leave a bottle of wine, a nice meal to heat up (maybe a pizza or whatever the person liked), crisps/something nibbly and tell them to book a film to watch on teleport/Sky

a babysitter should never go to someones house looking for their dinner and a bottle of wine! jesus, that sounds like a night out for me!!

Right, OK. This is a good friend of mine from school, so not a teenager. I think I'll assume she's had dinner so I'll go with bottle of wine, nice nibbles and biscuits (though she may not thank me for those!)

Lol. I am babysitting for a friend tonight, who is lovely, but there is usually next to nothing to eat! I will be taking my dinner and some diet coke...

I tell them to help themselves to whatever they can find, unless there's something I need to keep, in which case I say "but not the blank, please." Usually the babysitter feeds the dc so I make sure there's enough for her as well.

Im nornally left out a few packets of crisps )diff falvours) and the biscuit and choc bar tin.... oh and the tea coffe / fruit / fruot juice etc are pointed out!

when i babysit at the house where i nanny (or used to nanny) i know i can just help myslef to anything at all in the fridge / freezer / cupboards etc etc!
