Hi, I'm new to the board, and really hoping someone can help me.
I have an interview with Home Start and have to give a 5 minute presentation. I hate giving presentations so much that I have avoided ever giving one . It scares me! I know I will just go read and forget what I'm saying. Not just that I just can not think what to say, lasting more than two minutes.
The 5 min presentation is on :
With the development of childrens centres this government has shown commitment to improving life for families with young children. Taking this into account, why do you feel there is a need for an organisation like Home Start?
Please, please someone help. I really want the job, and don't want to give up becausse of the presentation.
Thank you xx

homestart are more involved in 1-1 with the whole family by coming into the home and helping by role modelling and being a listening ear via befriending. Surestart is more community based and while beneficial does not really provide holistic support
