I turn 30 in a couple of months. Feeling sad to leave my 'youth' behind in a way.
Not that I think 30 is remotely old!

Thoughts and feelings appreciated, I feel like need a boost Sad

I was really looking forward to my 30th! It was a big birthday, and I was intent on seeing it in with a big celebration. A year before though, I found out I was pregnant with my first child, and she was born 4 months before my big day!
What was supposed to be a mad party turned out to be a weekend away with my nearest and dearest, and whilst I couldn't drink due to still breast feeding it was honestly the best birthday I've ever had.
I still don't think I look like I'm in my 30s... I look at other women my age and think they look like real women, whereas I don't! But in terms of my outlook, I've grown a more 'don't give a fuck' attitude and am more at peace with myself than I've ever been.
Bit early yet, but I'll be looking forward to planning my 40th a few years down the line Smile

I hated it. I cried on my 30th birthday.
