Thought there might be a thread on this but couldn't find one.

Saw Heather Mills on the box this morning, she was supposed to be talking about the process of farrowing in pig farming, but ended up talking about............

...........yes, you guessed it, herself. Well there's a surprise.

Grrrr

Silly bint.

That's not true Aloha. She's been honest about not being particlulary honest in the past. But as far as I can see, she's never done anything any other ambitious model in London hasn't done to further her career. It's literally a dog eat dog industry.

Aloha · 15/03/2007 16:32

Yes, that was obviously true!

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2007 16:32

What porn vids? Have you seen them? They are not porn!

rowan1971 · 15/03/2007 16:32

Did she really claim she hadn't heard of the Beatles???

becklespeckle · 15/03/2007 16:32

at aloha

southeastastra · 15/03/2007 16:33

didn't she marry a bloke then disappear for weeks. i just don't like her, in the same way i don't like margaret thatcher

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2007 16:33

And I'm not saying she wasn't a bit of a fantasist, but agian, find me an actor or model in London that isn't.

Aloha · 15/03/2007 16:33

It IS true MT. For years she actually pretended to be another Heather Mills (a respected journalist) entirely, even sending out the other Heather Mills's press clippings and claiming them as her own. She made up nearly every single detail of her own childhood, she has denied being a prostitute, she claimed never to have heard of the Beatles...there is no end to it!

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2007 16:41

That still isn't an excuse for all this bile Aloha. There is no excuse for that, in the same way a woman doesn't deserve to be raped, so HMM doesn't deserve this endless vilification.

So she was a fantasist and an arsehole - I was an actor in London in the 90's - this fits the description of everyone I met, including myself! There really are worse things to be - such as a bully. If any of you though HMM was to read these threads what do you think it would do to her? She was a very mixed up woman, is still a character by all reports, but she isn?t a monster and doesn't deserve this; I don?t think anyone does TBH and I?d be horrified to find myself joining in such a witch hunt, cause that?s all it is.

Aloha · 15/03/2007 16:45

Really? You pretended to be someone else entirely, like the Observer Social Affairs correspondent, even when challenged about it? She puts herself in the public eye as a personality and is furious when people don't entirely concur with her view of herself.

becklespeckle · 15/03/2007 16:48

nobody is saying she's a monster MT, we just don't like her as a person!

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2007 16:49

Okay, carry on. Have fun. Lets just comfort ourselves on the fact that if you fuck up in life, even though you never actually hurt anyone but yourself, no one will ever let you get past it. Makes me all warm and cosy that.

Really, how long have you known her Beckle?

(rhetorical question, you don't have to answer it)

rowan1971 · 15/03/2007 16:50

that had occurred to me too, aptimil...

do you have to know someone to dislike them? I did mention further down that I am aware that the media side of her which I see isn't the complete story!

becklespeckle · 15/03/2007 16:53

i am not the only person who finds her annoying and she is not the only person I find annoying

I am also sure that many people find me highly annoying too but as long as my friends don't - who cares?!

aptamil · 15/03/2007 16:53

come on monkey trousers it was a bit of fun!

TeeCee · 15/03/2007 16:56

Monkeytrousers - you obviously like her, great, happy for you.
Lots of people don't and we're saying why etc in a chatty site on the website we all uise and talk to each other on. How is it a witch hunt? Calm yourself down. Noone's being overly vile, the majority of people haven't spoken about her disability or have had a word with those that have. People just don't like her very much, lots of people acyually, and some of them are on here chatting about it. It's not a witch hunt, it's an internet conversation. Personally I think you should get over it.

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2007 16:57

Sorry, shouldn't have sworn, that was offensive - but I still can't believe you actually wrote that

becklespeckle · 15/03/2007 16:57

well said TeeCee

TeeCee · 15/03/2007 16:57

And comapring a load of mums discussing why we don't like HM doesn't comapre to a woman not deserving to be raped! FFS! Sounds like this is winding you up in a way it really shouldn't.

aptamil · 15/03/2007 17:00

well I will apologise for that remark and any offence it might have caused.
It was a joke but clearly aired at the wrong time...
Let this be the end of it please.

Soapbox · 15/03/2007 17:00

I'm not overly fond of HMM, but really making fun of people with a disability is the stuff of the playground.

A lovely MNetter, who has posted on this thread has a DS who is facing the fact that one day he will be called 'hop a long' but that's okay - it's just a laugh
